At 240 Hz a new image arrives every 4.17 ms and at 280 Hz every 3.57 ms. At 610 Hz, every 1.64 ms. The return per hertz keeps shrinking, but the cumulative effect is real: between two frames the enemy covers less ground, so there's less to guess. The catch is that you need to actually hold 600 fps in game; in CS2 or Valorant with a strong GPU that's realistic, in anything heavier it isn't.
Almost no manufacturer gives this figure: it's how long the monitor takes to start drawing what it receives, separate from hertz and pixel response. ASUS states 0.8 ms and claims that's 56% lower than other 600 Hz panels. Having the number on the table is rare and valuable, because it's the one link in the chain most spec sheets hide.
Backlight strobing fights the blur your own eye creates while tracking an object, but it has always had a toll: the screen gets darker. ELMB 2 triples the brightness of the previous generation per ASUS, so the extreme-clarity mode stops being uncomfortable in a normally lit room.

It's the fastest monitor in this comparison and it was built for exactly this: 1080p so the GPU can push hundreds of fps, a Super TN panel with no overshoot, and ELMB 2 for spray control. If you compete in CS2 or Valorant and your rig delivers 500-600 fps, nothing else on this list beats it.
Rocket League comfortably runs past 400 fps on a decent PC, so here you can actually use a good chunk of those 610 Hz. The motion clarity helps read the ball's path. You give up the colour and contrast of an OLED, which in such a visual game you do miss.
Wasted. Minecraft is rarely played chasing 600 fps and, if you do, it's on a stripped-back setup. 1080p on a 24-inch TN leaves the game looking fairly poor next to any OLED, and the premium isn't justified.
Roblox shooters are light and can reach very high fps, so you'd notice something. But paying this panel's price to play Roblox makes no sense: the same money buys a far better monitor for everything else.
Ideal for: The tactical shooter player with a very strong PC who wants the absolute ceiling in fluidity and doesn't mind that it's a mediocre monitor outside the shooter.

Works very well as the tech reviewers/youtubers stated but paying this much money for a SINGLE dead pixel on a brand new monitor, and it’s close to the center of the screen too, is very frustrating to say the least
