Placing the driver at an angle instead of flat against the ear brings the geometry closer to a speaker aimed at you. That improves front-back directional perception without any processing, which is exactly the information you want when you're working out which side footsteps are coming from.
With 120 h over 2.4 GHz and up to 200 h on Bluetooth, you charge it once every few weeks of play. If you use the same headset for gaming, classes and music, that's the difference between thinking about the charging cable and never thinking about it again.

(You have to switch between the two modes so it's not seamless but it's 'quick' taking only a few seconds). Volume is not quite as granular as I'd like it, but that's about the only complaint.
