Bluetooth adds tens of milliseconds through its codec and packet handling: enough for a footstep to reach you when the enemy is already behind you. A proprietary 2.4 GHz link like LIGHTSPEED uses a dedicated channel and a minimal buffer, so audio arrives essentially in sync with the image. For competing, that's the only valid wireless connection.
Graphene is stiff and very light, so the diaphragm deforms less as it moves fast. Less deformation means less distortion, and less distortion means a distant footstep doesn't get buried under the rumble of a nearby gunshot. In a tactical shooter, that's information you keep.
2.4 GHz for playing, Bluetooth for your phone or Discord on another device, and a 3.5 mm jack for a console or a laptop with no dongle. It's one of the few headsets at this level that doesn't make you choose.

Audio matters less here: you lean on sound to know if someone's coming up behind you, and little else. What you do appreciate are the velour earpads and 50 hours of battery for long ranked sessions.
In PvP, positional audio helps locate creepers, players and pearls, and the passive isolation of the closed cups is enough. No headset makes the difference here that it makes in a tactical shooter.

Comfort: These are nearly as comfortable as my daily Asto a40s. The Pro X2s come with two different types of ear cups; the default leather-ish cups and the breathable cloth cups. I use the cloth cups in an attempt to emulate the supreme comfort of the a40s, and I would say it's close. Their light weight and swivel design definitely contribute to their comfort. I can wear these for 4+ hours and not feel fatigue or sweatiness. Bluetooth: I didn't expect this functionality be so useful. With the press of the Bluetooth button, it will exit/enter Bluetooth mode, allowing you to switch between the 2.4GHz dongle connection and the Bluetooth connection within seconds. I bought this headset on March 31st, 2024. Over 2 years now, and hands down one of my favorite purchases. This headset has NEVER died. I’m not sure I even know if it makes a sound if the battery gets low. It is a tank. And this is with a lot of hours usage per day with work + gaming, and maybe a little music too. It is also a super well made. Looks visually appealing to any eye and fits wonderfully. I cannot recall any issues about having the headset on for too long during a session. The earmuffs, adjustability and material are well made. I have an actual mic, so I never planned on getting this headset for its mic nor used it, so I cannot comment on that aspect. I've had mine for 3 years now and keep coming back to them because nothing is better for what I need: great wireless gaming headphones. These provide the best combo: great non fatiguing sound quality, lightweight and comfortable, and rock solid connection. The rock solid connection is apparently not to be taken for granted as I've tried the Razer Blackshark V3 Pro and Turtle Beach Stealth II Pro headsets that struggle with interference in my setups (PC in office and PS5 in living room). My old Steelseries Arctis Nova 7 do fine too. Its other features are bare bones and feel like afterthoughts so if you want a bigger package of features, these might disappoint. Bluetooth is not simultaneous.
Cracked the battery on my Logitech G935 headset (See end for more detail), they were 2 years old so I figured instead of replacing I'd upgrade. I was very excited to unbox the Logitech X 2 Pro today and plug them in. I found the headset even more comfortable than the G935 and I did feel like the sound had a slight improvement, though nowhere enough for the $230 ($130 more than the G935) and that was on sale from $280!
